Introduction
Some people just like the buttons on the right and this will show you how to do it in Ubuntu.

The command
The following command will add a menu button which looks like a little circle on the left and the other buttons on the left.

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout 'menu:minimize,maximize,close'

To use the command just type it or copy it to the terminal and press enter.
